The 2004-2007 Arts Strategy was not revised in 2008. During this year, the City of Melbourne was in the process of preparing Future Melbourne, the long-term vision developed by the community for Melbourne to be a bold, inspirational and sustainable city by 2020. The development of a new Arts Strategy was deferred until 2009.
