Hi,
I've thought of some interview questions that directly relate to parts of our design, a cultural probe wouldn't be able to give us this level of detail.
Please send through more questions as you think of them.
Branding:
- You have 10 logos in front of you please choose 5 and write down as many words as you can that you associate with that logo, an example is provided.
- Please order them from most 'prestige' to least
- Please order them from most 'fun' to least
- Please order them from most 'creative' to least
Map:
- You are to take the map given to you and complete the tour listed on it.
- As you complete the tour, please try to keep track of the environmental elements you use in your journey to help you find your way around, such as street signs, landmarks etc
- Was the map confusing in anyway?
- Did you get lost?
- Did you need to map to find the places listed? If you did, what proportion of the time do you think you used the map?
- Are there any aspects of the map that could be clearer?
- What is your comfort level with using the map? Scoring from 1-10, 1 being completely uncomfortable, 10 being extremely comfortable.
- Would you use this map again?
- Would you recommend this map to your friends?
System:
- Does the idea of expert/celebrity recommendations of cultural places and events appeal to you?
- Would you be interested in walking tours recommended by experts or celebritites?
- Who would you like to see recommend a tour?
- Are you comfortable with using vending machines?
- Do you like the idea of maps being available in vending machines?
- Do you think the system described would benefit from having an information booth included?
